See a sample site plan PDF
The home page links to a sample of the full PDF, drawn for a made-up Toronto lot with a house, a driveway and a new shed: every lot line, setback and area measured, the scale bar, the zoning table and the lines to sign, exactly as your own comes out. The scale note on every PDF now sits clear of the north arrow.

A top bar on every page, and a new home page
Every page now opens with a bar to the site plan, the free tools, the guides and the blog, and a button to start your plan. The home page shows the five free Toronto tools, what you can count on when you buy (the free preview first, one payment, a fix or a refund if the PDF is faulty), the guides and the latest blog post.

Guides: drawing a Toronto site plan, and deck rules
A guides page, a step-by-step guide to drawing the site plan the City asks for yourself, and the deck rules: when a deck needs a permit, how high its floor can be and how far it may reach into your yard setbacks, with each by-law clause named. Guides and Blog are now linked at the foot of every page.

Blog: a shed with no permit can still break the zoning rules
The first post: Toronto’s permit page lets a shed under 15 m² go without a permit, but the zoning by-law’s limits start at 10 m² and 2.5 m tall. A worked example shows a shed that passes one and fails the other, and the smaller shed that fits.

Every Toronto address opens its lot
Townhouses and other condominium homes now open the lot the City draws for the whole complex, with your own building marked and a note that the condo board approves yard changes first. Addresses written as a range (3875-3931) or with a half (32 1/2) work too, and the few addresses the City’s map has no lot for yet say so plainly. A fault that left lots with no garage undrawn on the plan page is fixed, a new shed now starts in a free spot on your lot, and a curved lot line no longer stacks its lengths on top of each other.

Free: shed rules, fence height and building near a tree
Three new free Toronto tools. Check a shed or garage against the zoning by-law’s height, setback and size rules, find the tallest fence allowed where yours goes, and see whether a tree is protected and how far a shed, deck or pool must stay from it. Each answer names the rule and its source. The lot size tool now carries your lot’s numbers into the shed check.

Buying the PDF works again
The Get the PDF button stopped at “Whop didn’t answer”. The fault was on our side and the request never reached Whop, so no one was charged. It is fixed.

lotmara now keeps daily totals of page views, visitors and tool use, without cookies and never with an address or plan. The privacy page says exactly what is counted, and browsers with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track are left out.
